The biggest problem
with today's software - is you get too much for your money!
Most people only need to use a fraction of the programs - but different
fractions.
Let me show you just what you need for the jobs you want to use it for.

You may have:
Completed a course at college,
Got your ECDL,
Bought a book,
Used the program Help Screens,
Worked your way through Tutorials,
Attended standard courses,
BUT
if you still can't get the software
to do what you want (or you don't want to do all of the above), maybe I can
help.
Email details of your problem, including files if possible, and I
will recommend a training solution and quote a price.

My Background
Computer/'Office Systems'
Experience:
From 1993 - Freelance Computer Consultant.
Trainer for 'Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce'
and 'Mearns & Angus Services Ltd'
(1983 - 1993)
Ten years with chartered accountants,
latterly as Computer Manager for eleven
offices,
sixteen partners, over 60 computer users.
Scientific Experience:
(1976 - 1983)
Seven years as a self-employed, contract geophysicist.
(1972 - 1976)
Four years full-time in the oil industry as a geophysicist.
This wide range of experience enables me to
communicate well with people of many different backgrounds - see my Client
List. I have vast experience in office systems - word processing, accounting,
spreadsheets, databases, presentations - and my scientific background means that
I can often help with technical projects. I have used personal computers since
they first became available (about 1976). At first this required writing
programs in Basic, then using MS.DOS Wordperfect, Supercalc, Dbase, Sage
Accounts, then Windows 3.1, '95, '98, 2000, XP, Vista with the
corresponding Microsoft Office and Sage software.
